Professional Indemnity Insurance

Under the Federal Lawyers’ Act (BRAO), lawyers are obliged to maintain professional indemnity insurance; notaries are also required to take out professional indemnity insurance. The minimum sum insured is €1 million.

The professional indemnity insurance is held with Dialog Versicherung AG, Adenauerring 7, 81737 Munich. The geographical scope of the insurance cover encompasses activities in the member states of the European Union and meets at least the requirements of Section 51 of the Federal Lawyers’ Act (BRAO).
